The Gift of the Pub
The Wheatsheaf fed 24 Cotswold Highlanders on the Friday before Christmas. We had an early dinner before setting off to Cirencester to reel the night away. The Wheatsheaf couldn't have been better: they put us in a beautiful private room, and we had a delicious preordered meal - outstanding sea bass on a bed of fennel and lemon tart for 8 parents plus cheeseburgers and sticky toffee pudding for the 16 young. The staff were fantastic - really smiley and efficient. We can't wait to return.
